Friday, 28 August 2026 Free tools and honest guides for Indian students

Start Here

Everything here is free, there is nothing to sign up for, and no guide will promise you a monthly income figure. Pick the situation that matches where you are right now.

You’re in the middle of a semester

The goal is to spend less time on the mechanical parts of studying so you have more left for the parts that actually need thinking.

Placement season is coming, or already here

This is the sequence that matters, in order. Do not skip to interview prep before the resume is right — most rejections happen before a human ever reads it.

  1. Write a resume that gets shortlisted — what Indian recruiters and ATS systems actually filter on, with a 20-point checklist. Start here.
  2. Build a portfolio that gets interviews — turning college projects into proof.
  3. Prepare for interviews using AI — including the habits that make AI-prepped candidates sound rehearsed.
  4. Negotiate your salary — word-for-word scripts, and when to name a number.
  5. Free certifications worth adding — which ones recruiters actually recognise.

Graduating without a clear next step? The career roadmap is a month-by-month plan for the first year out.

You want to earn something on the side

Read this section with your guard up — it is the area where students get targeted most. Every guide here states honest earning ranges and how long it realistically takes to see a first payment.

One warning. If a method requires you to pay upfront to start earning, treat that as the single biggest red flag. Nothing recommended on this site works that way.

You just want the free tools

No login, no limits, no email required.

How to get the most out of this site

Pick one thing and finish it. The most common mistake is reading five guides across three categories in one evening and acting on none of them. One resume rewritten properly beats ten tools you skimmed.

Everything here is written by one person — Akshay Varma, a B.Tech CSE student — which is worth knowing so you can judge the advice accordingly. The About page sets out plainly what I can and cannot tell you.

Found something wrong or out of date? Tell me. Prices change, free tiers shrink, and exam rules move — corrections are genuinely welcome.
